More than 30 years ago, ACE was founded as an electricity store. Today we are the specialist in the field of lighting in and around Antwerp. In our lighting store in the Kammenstraat in Antwerp you will find a surprising mix of very exclusive lighting and affordable design. In addition, as a lighting specialist we also have 3 special brand stores that are entirely devoted to a specific brand: unique in Belgium. ACE Lighting is therefore anything but a normal lamp store, despite the fact that you will also find a wealth of DIY light material here.

We provide customized lighting advice in various showrooms in the Kammenstraat. Tailor-made lighting advice means that we try to respond as much as possible to your personal story. A successful light project always starts with the story of the customer. We listen to what you like and find out what you really want. Together we create the right solution for your project step by step.
During an appointment for a light study at our engineering office, we also rely on the architecture and interior of the home, office space or other project. We always try to give a room the right atmosphere so that the function of that room is fully supported by the lighting. It was discussed earlier, but we would like to repeat it: lighting has a huge impact on the perception of a space.

They immerse themselves in new technologies, such as LED lamps, and are constantly looking for stronger products and innovative designs. Our brand
One cannot perfect the interior of a space without carefully considering lighting. Most rooms are not fit for all types of luminaires, nor does everyone possess the technical knowhow to install it. With the latter in mind, Kuro was founded by lighting professionals with over 35 years of experience.
Kuro entails a collection of architectural lighting issued in black and white – 'Kuro' is Japanese for black and refers to the contrast between dark and light – that is easy to assemble and that can offer a solution for any room or space. Our ambition is clear: the design is timeless and minimalist, the technology is modern and widely applicable, the assembly process is effortless ‘plug & play’. This makes the Kuro range a perfect fit for both residential and professional use.
Light the way, plug & play
The full Kuro collection is designed with the ease of the user as a priority. The range is user-friendly and effortless to install. Connecting Kuro luminaires does not require any transformer or driver, you simply wire the lamps to the mains supply. The full collection is dimmable via DALI and can be upgraded with a CASAMBI module to allow wireless dimming control.
Kuro track systems are pre-assembled with all required components and can be directly inserted into a track system. Similarly, Kuro wall and ceiling luminaires are straightforward to assemble. Enjoy simplicity with our ‘Plug & Play’ products.
Monochrome, for business & at home
There is no light without darkness, hence why the full Kuro collection is released in two neutral colours: black and white. Monochrome colours are easy on the eye and blend well with all interior styles. Compatible accessories are available in both colours, allowing you to style and combine light fixtures and extras as desired. The neutral colour palette makes the collection subtly suit in any professional or residential space.
Sleek style, luxuriously luminous
The Kuro lighting collection is characterized by timeless and compact designs that generate a minimalist and luxurious feel. We develop light fixtures with the utmost care in order to produce efficient-sized and lightweight models.
Kuro luminaires score an exceptional high-quality CRI (97) to ensure the lighting gives off a pure natural light. This natural light is ideal for illuminating any type of space, most notably a bathroom where time is often spent beautifying in front of a mirror. The built-in anti-glare feature will provide you with bright yet comfortable light.
Different ambient, dim on a whim
Searching for light with diversity? Opt for dimmable lighting. The Kuro collection includes lights compatible with dimming features such as TRIAC or CASAMBI. Dimmable luminaires let you adjust the luminosity to fit the desired atmosphere. The CASAMBI app on a smart device allows to easily adjust the colour temperature and brightness of the lights via a Bluetooth connection.
Enjoy a 5-year warranty
At Kuro we hold a high standard and spend many years perfecting all our spots internally on the manufacturing of electrical parts and the composition of materials for its outer design. Thanks to our base in Belgium and the in-house designated test area, we can determine and repair or replace a malfunctioning spot with ease. We are working with high-quality COB (Chip on Board) LED technology that lasts around 25 years, depending on your household and usage. Therefore, Kuro offers a flexible warranty period of 5 years.
After a notice of a malfunctioning spot is made, it is best to contact our light experts immediately by email, who will then inform you of the steps to take next. Most likely you will be requested to send the spotlight to our Kuro headquarters where we can test them in our light lab. After determining the reason for the malfunction, we will provide you with a repair or replacement. This way you should never be longer than 1 week out of a perfectly working Kuro spot. That is our guarantee.
